I am making this post to keep track of all the books and documentation that I read this year. This will be the place where I will document my 11K in 2K11 trek. I need to hit about 800 pages a month. Shouldn't be too hard to do.

Happy New Year: The Road to 1337

Well I guess I will make my first post of the new year. Let me start off by saying that I didn't sit the SSCP today. More than likely I will sit that bad boy in May, if I sit it at all.. A person on a forum I am a member of ( http://socialbit.net/forum) has expressed interest in going to compete in Defcon. Still being a noob I will have a lot of catching up to do but I will do everything in my power to learn as much as I can. That said I have decided to use this blog to log my studies and finding. For those of you interested, My first books will be the Web Application Hackers Handbook and Hacking the art of exploitation.

I am going to challenge the GPEN and GCIA this year :). So it is looking like this is my goal:

LPIC-1/Linux+ - March
CEH - May
Elearnsecurity ecPPT Quarter 2
GPEN Quarter 3
GCIA Quarter 4

Unless someone makes me change my mind, this is what I want to go for.
